The Equality Unit is developing a new digital training material aimed at all municipal employees. The purpose of the training is to provide knowledge and tools for employees to better recognize, prevent, and handle unconscious bias and discrimination and stereotyping in the workplace.
This initiative is part of the City’s broader action plan against racism, ethnic discrimination, and hate crimes. Research shows that such efforts help create psychological safety, strengthen well-being, and increase employees’ sense of belonging. By embedding these tools across the organization, the Equality Unit aims to foster a more inclusive culture and strengthen diversity and equality in the workplace.
