The «Bern schaut hin» campaign against sexism and queerphobia was present at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 in Bern. Football topics were used creatively to reach out to as many people as possible and encourage moral courage in everyday life.
The campaign stressed that violence against queer people – like offside in football – has no place in the game. Posters in public spaces, digital content, and links to a reporting tool invited people affected by queerphobia and violence, as well as witnesses to report incidents anonymously and safely.
By linking sport, diversity, and equality, Bern has sent a clear message: respect is part of the game – in the stadium, on the street, and in daily life.
