From May 2025 until november 2025 LGBTIQ* and allies from Brunswick are invited to visit workshops to work on building safer spaces for LGBTIQ* in the city. Our goal is to give those affected a voice, raise awareness among allies and develop joint strategies to actively combat hate and discrimination. Each event focuses on a specific topic – from sports and education to church, nightlife and family . The workshops are complemented by practical offerings such as argumentative support for dealing with homophobia and dealing with criminal charges. There was a opening event in May, in which a study was presented showing how much hate is being experienced by marginalized people. One workshop takes place every month and there is no participation fee. The series is organized in collaboration with the local advocacy assossiation, the local police department and the administration council.
