In 2025 a strong focus of our work was the building of new strategies  with regard to the LGBTIQ* community, city politics and administration and urban society to safeguard the accomplishments of the past, to maintain the standards of anti-discrimination and equality that have been reached in the last decades and to take steps to keep the LGBTIQ* population and its community centers and institutions safe. Thus we produced two papers that were accepted  as resolutions by the City Council:

LGBTIQ* competence, (a guideline to make sure that municipal workplaces are welcoming and free from discrimination for LGBTIQ* employees and ctizens including practical advice) and Munich’s new LGBTIQ* strategy. Safeguarding Achievements – Confronting Threats – Shaping the Future.

Also resolutions on safety measures for the LGBTIQ* community and on rainbow symbolism in the city is in the making and will be presented to the City Council soon.
